Arsene Wenger: We Are Desperate For New Signings

Arsene Wenger admitted following our embarrassing defeat to Liverpool that we are in desperate need for reinforcements after a disastrous start to our Premier League campaign.

After taking the lead, we astonishingly found ourselves 4-1 down shortly after the break and a comeback was ultimately in vain as the game drew to a close.

Asked by SkySports’ Geoff Shreeves if he was more desperate for signings, Wenger replied: “It’s always desperate.”

Wenger also bemoaned the lack of time left in the window, something which beggars belief given that it’s public knowledge to everyone in the world at the start of each summer.
