Arsenal starlet Eddie Nketiah netted a classy brace for England’s U19 side in the Toulon Tournament semi-final against Scotland in a 3-1 victory.

Nketiah also laid on another for his teammate to book a place in the final against Mexico on Sunday as the Three Lions look to win back-to-back Toulon titles.

The young striker was introduced as a first-team player last season, featuring in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup, the latter competition saw him net a brace on his debut.

After being released by Chelsea, Nketiah joined Arsenal and has since developed into a sensational goalscorer at youth level, enhancing his reputation as the most exciting prospect we’ve had for a while as a central striker.

With reports suggesting that our summer budget will not be as deep as previous summers, Emery will be keen to promote many of our younger stars.

Nketiah is among the next batch of players those within the club excited about, including Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Joe Willock.
