ESPN panel debate Wenger’s decisions…

ESPN’s panel believe that Arsene Wenger was right to rest players who went far in the European Championships, and Aaron Ramsey’s injury vindicates him.

Ramsey was one of the players ‘rushed back’ by Wenger and the Welshman picked up a hamstring injury in the second half after playing one pre-season game.

Wales reached the semi-final of the tournament, but Ramsey was suspended for that fixture so his last game was against Belgium in the quarter-finalĀ on July 1st.

When you consider that the likes of Bacary Sagna of Manchester City and Southampton’s Cedric Soares played in the opening game despite starting the Euro 2016 final, Ramsey had an extended break.

Check out their analysis in the clip above.
