Mesut Ozil celebrated his 28th birthday with a sensational goal and a win against Swansea City on Saturday, and there was another surprise for the Arsenal man when he got home.

A number of the world’s biggest stars sent their birthday wishes to Ozil and the playmaker filmed himself as he watched their classy messages.

It was quite fitting that the clip ended with Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, one of Ozil’s closest friends and a player he had a great rapport with during their time in Spain.

Robert Pires also managed to slot in his clip while sporting a Germany top with Ozil’s name on the back.
