Granit Xhaka: How Facing My Brother At Euro 2016 Will Feel Like

Brothers facing up against each other at club level is something we’re used to, but it’s rather an anomaly at international level. Granit Xhaka, our first summer signing, will come up against his blood brother in his opening game at Euro 2016.
The two were eligible to play for two national sides – Switzerland and Albania. Granit chose the former, while Taulant will line up for Albania on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal’s Xhaka is one year is brother’s junior – who plies his trade at FC Basel – and the former Borussia Monchengladbach man has admitted that facing his brother will be strange.
“It’s difficult to play against him,” Granit Xhaka admitted.
“But we are professional and I hope Switzerland wins.”
Arsenal fans will no doubt be on a personal scouting mission to see the player Wenger comfortable shelled out £30million for in May.
