Arsenal new-boy Granit Xhaka started for Switzerland in their friendly against Belgium on Saturday afternoon for the first time since making his big move to north London.
Xhaka, a player we’ve been after for quite some time told SkySportsNewsHQ that happy to finally “be a Gunner” after a tough few weeks for him while the move was being negotiated.
Lining up alongside former Arsenal man Johan Djourou, the defender assured us fans that we’re getting a player of the highest quality.

With the move quoted at £30m, Xhaka becomes our third most expensive signing in history, an unusual move by Arsene Wenger in a position where we’re stocked in numbers.
Djourou compares Xhaka to midfield maestro Andrea Pirlo in the clip above. No pressure, Granit!
Check out the duo’s take on his move to Arsenal, their conversation about London and what the Premier League is set to welcome.
