Hector Bellerin has pinpointed the difference he now feels with Unai Emery barking orders fro the touchline…
Hector Bellerin stated that Unai Emery’s style of management during games suits him better with the Spaniard revealing that he’s always receiving instructions from the new head coach, Copa90 reports.
Bellerin, like many others, has only known one Arsenal manager and after thanking the legendary Arsene Wenger for promoting him to the first team, he made it clear that things were now different under Emery.
Speaking to Copa90, the 23-year-old claimed that Emery has brought a different “style and mentality” to the club in recent months and that he’s fully embraced it.
With Emery operating with much less credit in the bank than his predecessor, he knows he’ll ultimately be judged on resultsĀ to it seems inevitable that the intensity will translate onto the players.
After a tough pre-season, Bellerin believes the players are starting to become familiar with the philosophy – as evident by our winning streak.
“I’m very happy with the change as well,” Bellerin told Copa90 presenters Poet & Vuj.
“He’s brought a different kind of style and mentality to the club. Obviously, it’s the early stages and we don’t need to get carried away but with six wins in a row you can see that we are getting there slowly.”
When asked about Emery and his assistantĀ Juan Carlos Carcedo’s antics on the touchline during games, Bellerin insisted that it makes him play better: “For me, as a player, I love to have information next to me the whole time.
“So when someone on the bench is constantly telling me if I do something wrong and what to do better, for my style of play I prefer that.”
