Jack Wilshere has declared himself fit for the Euros and is intending to pay back the faith shown in him by Roy Hodgson who’s made it clear that the Arsenal man is central to his plans.

Wilshere played over 60 minutes against Turkey on Sunday and while he didn’t have the best of games, the 24-year-old proved he’s ready for international football.

Quite bizarrely, Hodgson deployed Wilshere further up the pitch to accommodate Eric Dier, a sea-change from the system which brought England much joy during the qualifiers.

Wilshere is hoping to get more minutes in the upcoming friendlies and speaks on the importance the staff at England have played a part in his rehabilitation.
