David Seaman says there is no debate regarding the best foreign player in Premier League history…
Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman clearly cannot comprehend why there’s still a debate to be had regarding the best foreign player in Premier League history, claiming that Thierry Henry is in a league of his own, as per talkSPORT.
It seems this debate is rehashed every season as some of the contenders continue to enhance their reputation, one being Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
The Argentine continues to increase his Premier League tally and has eclipsed Henry to become the number one player with the best goals-to-games ratio.
However, for Seaman, there isn’t a debate and cites Henry’s ability to change the face of a game from any area of the pitch as one of his reasons.

“Who is the best? You’ve got players like Ruud van Nistelrooy, Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Patrick Vieira, Luis Suarez, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Aguero…,” Seaman began to explain on the radio.
“But when you look at the influence they had on the Premier League, I would look no further than Thierry.
“For me, he influenced games not just in the attacking third but all over the pitch.
“I can’t see any further than Thierry.”
Henry is not only the best foreign player in the Premier League, he’s the best the division has ever seen – period. A great goalscorer. A scorer of great goals. And an unselfish forward who still holds the record for assists in a single season.
