Rob Holding has made it clear that he’s looking to starting his first north London derby in the Premier League on Sunday and he’s relishing his chance to do battle against Harry Kane, The Independent reports.

Holding has been a mainstay in our defence this season, coming in for the previously injured Sokratis and he’s kept his place ever since.

The former Bolton man was part of a three-man defence which marshalled us to a first league win since our 3-1 victory over Leicester City in October.

We’ll need a solid defensive performance if we’re to win back-to-back derby games at home in the league, especially with Spurs’ new-found formation.

Mauricio Pochettino has found a way to get two central strikers into his team in a diamond system, and so our defensive department needs to be on alert.

“I don’t know [how to stop him,” Holding said about Kane.

“He scores goals, doesn’t he? If he doesn’t score a goal, I’ll be happy.

“It’s one I’m looking forward to. I’ve been on the bench against Tottenham at White Hart Lane in my first year [at Arsenal]. It was a good experience the first time, especially away at White Hart Lane.

“Their crowd was up and our fans were giving it some. It seemed like a hot atmosphere to play in so I’m looking forward to that. I’m looking forward to going up against Harry Kane.”

We’ve only kept two clean sheets at home all season and we’re yet to lead a game at half-time in the league – these stats need to improve.
