Arsenal star Santi Cazorla reserved special praise for Mikel Arteta as the 34-year-old played his last game as a professional footballer in our 4-0 win against Aston Villa.

Arteta was able to get some minutes and also almost got on the scoresheet as his shot deflected in off Mark Bunn for our fourth.

However, Cazorla professed that it was a sad day for many associated with Arsenal and wanted to personally thank Arteta for the role he played in helping him settle in following his move in 2012.
