Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck trained away from the group at England duty ahead of the upcoming clash in Germany, Sky Sports News reports.

Nick Collins, Sky Sports’ chief reporter, reports that Welbeck’s absence was due to him completing a post-match fitness programme designed for him by Arsenal.

Welbeck started two high-intensity games in the space of three days last week, and after missing 10 months of action with a knee injury, precaution is certainly the order of the day.
