Thomas Partey says he’s enjoying playing with Arsenal’s young stars…

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey expressed that he’s enjoying life at the club alongside our crop of young talent following an impressive 5-0 win at Norwich, the Ghanain told Arsenal Player.

We racked up our fourth consecutive league win to consolidate our position in the table as we look to return to the premier club competition in Europe.

Just as it was at Elland Road last week, it was our young talent producing the attacking verve that saw us come away with the three points.

Bukayo Saka bagged a brace that saw us race into a 3-0 lead, while Emile Smith Rowe came on to score for the four league game in a row.

Martin Odegaard was the main conductor once again, laying two assists for Saka and Kieran Tierney’s strikes.

Partey, one of the few senior members in the team, is enjoying life alongside such sparkling talent.

“It is very enjoyable, I enjoy a lot playing with them,” the 28-year-old was quoted as saying.

“They are good talents, a lot of people around that can play with them and they have a lot of quality in front of goal and they can score at any time, so it is a joyful moment playing with them.”

Partey, after a few shaky performances, seemed to return to his best at Carrow Road as he anchored the midfield while providing defensive security.

The former Atletico Madrid man was also secure in possession, which is imperative to our game as he’s usually the first point of reference for our defenders.

Before he heads off to compete at the Africa Cup of Nations next month, Partey is still eligible to play one more game for us – Covid-permitting, of course.
