The appearance of ‘Wenger Out’ banners has become a worldwide phenomenon ever since the Arsenal boss received widespread criticism from his own supporters.

The Frenchman created a hysteria throughout last season after leaving the signature on his contract extension until after the FA Cup final in May.

He ended up signing on for another two years, though out start to the new season has reignited the debate about his future with protests inevitably on the way.

Our 4-0 thrashing at Anfield was arguably one of Wenger’s darkest moments, especially given how he’s decided to behave in the transfer window.

Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazete were our summer purchases,  a decision Wenger will have to front up to if our season continues to enter into disarray.

As Gloucestershire faced Exeter in the Aviva Premiership live on BT Sport, an Arsenal fan clearly wanted to make a statement with the eyes of the nation on him, thus unfurling a ‘Wenger Out’ sign on a piece of cardboard.

We return to Premier League action next weekend at home to Bournemouth as we look to get back to winning ways following back-to-back defeats.

Bournemouth are one of only four teams currently below us in the table after losing their first three games, and Eddie Howe will certainly be looking to end that run at the Emirates Stadium.
