Wenger ‘certain’ on Ozil and Alexis agreements…

Arsene Wenger had given the biggest indication yet that Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will stay and sign new deals after the boss claimed that he was “certain” of finding an agreement.

The two stars are out of contract in 18-months and are locked in negotiations with the club and Wenger stressed that while he wants to reward them financially, we will not put the club in jeopordy for two players.

Wenger also revealed that both players have told him that they want to stay, and that it’s all about finding an agreement with their representatives.

“(Ozil and Sanchez) tell me they want to stay,” Wenger told beIN Sports.

“Alexis is a committed player and I am certain (we will reach an agreement).”

This is the most confident the boss has sounded about the future of our star duo and hopefully it means that a resolution is nearing for the pair.

Check out Wenger’s thoughts on the finances involved in these particular negotiations.
