Arsenal legend Robert Pires takes on former Premier League stars Emile Heskey, Gaizka Mendieta and Dominic Matteo in a 10-ball crossbar challenge.

Pires is well known to the other contestants, given that he spent his Premier League career tearing the like if Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Leeds United up.

Promoting Star Sixes, a competitive six-a-side indoor football competition, where former international players are chosen to represent a senior national team for which they played, Pires shows off his wonderful technique.

Pires is the French captain at the Star Sixes tournament this summer, and by the looks of his technique, the other national teams are in trouble.

The Frenchman still trains with our first-team when we’re down on numbers and is clearly in great shape ahead of a tournament which will host some of the greatest players in this generation.

Ex-Spurs striker Robbie Keane holds the record in this particular challenge, and ever the Gunners hero, Pires claimed that he was “here to beat Robbie Keane”.
