Shkodran Mustafi Hails Arsenal Teammates For “Never Giving Up”

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi praised the team for not giving up after we conjured up a late winner from the penalty spot to move us to second in the league table.

Mustafi gave us the lead shortly after half-time and it seemed at that point that we would comfortably go on to win the game and claim a crucial three points.

However, referee Jon Moss would mark his stamp on the game after sending off Granit Xhaka, and also gave two penalties to each side in stoppage time.

“The last games that we played, it seems like we never give up,” Mustafi said after the game. 

“We always come back and I think that’s a big, big credit to the team.”

Mustafi is yet to lose a game as an Arsenal player, setting a new record standing at 21 games going into the most crucial part of our season.
