Goals from Stephan Lichsteiner and Emile Smith Rowe gave us a two-goal lead and just like the previous round’s fixture against Brentford, we took our foot off the gas and allowed Blackpool back into the game.

The game was made more difficult after Matteo Guendouzi picked up a needless second yellow to leave us defending with 10-men for the final quarter of the game.

The Frenchman is now suspended for the weekend’s game against Liverpool.
