Ashley Cole Visits Arsenal Training Base In LA: “He Feels Like He’s At Home”

Ashley Cole arrives at Arsenal’s training base in LA…

Former Arsenal star Ashley Cole took the time out to visit the Gunners’ training base in LA ahead of our friendly against Chivas Guadalajara.

Fresh off our win against the MLS All-Stars, the match this evening against the Mexican side concludes our USA tour with a trip to Sweden next up for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Cole, who currently plies his trade in Los Angeles with LA Galaxy, can be seen talking to our backroom staff who’ve been at the club since the former Chelsea man was still in our academy.

Vik Akers and his son Paul are our first team kit-men, while the gentlemen on the far left is Paul Johnson – head of equipment.

Cole definitely left Arsenal in controversial fashion and will his relationship with us will never be mended, but it’s clear that those that witnessed his rise are still affectionate with the 35-year-old.

Paul Johnson makes a cheeky remark towards the end of the clip after Cole has a little chuckle, claiming that the England legend “feels like he’s at home” when he’s around Arsenal.
