Jack Wilshere: Finishing Above Spurs Was Nice, But We Should’ve Lifted The Title

Jack Wilshere briefly reminisced on our final day joy of overtaking Spurs following their collapse at Newcastle United, before stating that we should’ve won the league last May.

The England midfielder cited our victory against the champions in February as a potential turning point, but we failed to capitalise and eventually fell too far behind.

Wilshere is hoping that we’ve learnt from our mistakes and can challenge properly for the league this year.
