Oxlade-Chamberlain admits Arsenal future is uncertain…

Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has admitted that leaving the Emirates in search of first-team football has crossed his mind during the summer.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away during the past few summer windows and has now openly claimed that seeking pastures new is something he’s contemplated.

However, The Ox emphasised that the focus is now on helping Arsenal on the pitch and attempting to break into the team on a more regular basis.

” I’d be lying if I wasn’t going to sit here and say that it has crossed my mind that I need more game time,” The Ox told Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday.

” There comes a time in your career where you have to re-evaluate things and think, “Is that going to be here or elsewhere?”

Having seen his position taken by Alex Iwobi, The Ox must analyse his own game and come to the conclusion that integrating better into our team-play will convince Wenger.

The Frenchman has always played with one out-and-out winger and a more creative midfielder on opposite flanks. With Theo Walcott stamping his authority on the right, Iwobi’s role is one Oxlade-Chamberlain must have his eye on.

Check out the video above as he discusses his relationship with Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal future.
